Mr. Weild is the founder of Capital Markets Advisory Partners. He was formerly Vice Chairman of The NASDAQ Stock Market in charge of the Corporate Client Division with line responsibility for NASDAQ's 4,000 listed companies. Mr. Weild was behind NASDAQ's Market Intelligence DeskSM, Corporate Services NetworkSM, Dual Listings and Research Initiatives.
Prior to NASDAQ, Mr. Weild spent 14 years at Prudential Securities in a number of senior management roles, including President of eCommerce, Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Technology Investment Banking and Head of Equity Capital Markets in New York, London and Tokyo. Mr. Weild worked on over 500 IPO's, Follow-on offerings and convertible transactions and was an innovator of new issue systems and securities underwriting structures, including the use of Form S-3's to mitigate risk for small capitalization companies raising equity and convertible debt capital.
Mr. Weild holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business and a BA from Wesleyan University. He has studied on exchange at The Sorbonne, Ecole des Haute Etudes Commerciales and The Stockholm School of Economics. Mr. Weild is a member of The Economic Club of New York and a member and former Treasurer of The Bond Club of New York. He serves on the board of Tuesday's Children, a charity providing support to children who lost parents on September 11. He currently holds NASD Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 licenses.
Mr. Kim has 18 years of capital markets, finance, product development, and operations experience in both established and entrepreneurial environments. Prior to joining CMA Partners, he was Managing Director of Financial Communications at Stern and Company, a strategic communications and public relations firm. Previously, Mr. Kim was Senior Vice President at The NASDAQ Stock Market with responsibility for developing new products and services for NASDAQ's Corporate Client Group.
Prior to NASDAQ, Mr. Kim was Chief Administrative Officer of a publicly held internet software company. He has spent 11 years on the sell side, working in Investment Banking, Equity & Derivatives Trading, Salestrading, Equity Research and Equity Capital Markets at firms including Lehman Brothers, Prudential Securities, and Robertson Stephens.
Mr. Kim has a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mrs. Brendel was most recently Vice President of Market Sales and Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets, at The NASDAQ Stock Market. She was responsible for marketing NASDAQ Transactional Services products to financial institutions and major brokerage firms and created NASDAQ's Capital Markets program domestically and internationally. Mrs. Brendel was a senior liaison to NASDAQ's Issuer Affairs Committee and Institutional Traders Advisory Committee.
Prior to NASDAQ, Mrs. Brendel spent nearly 20 years at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in progressively senior capital markets roles culminating in First Vice President, Transactional Finance. She executed lead and co-managed transactions for over 500 issuers, coordinating the marketing, allocation, pricing and trading of IPOs and follow-on offerings. In addition to directly managing issuer, institutional investor and underwriter relationships, Mrs. Brendel coordinated with the various internal transaction constituencies, including corporate finance, equity research, sales and trading.
Mrs. Brendel has a BA in Economics from Sweet Briar College. She is a Governor of The Bond Club of New York, a member of the Security Traders Association of New York and the Women's Syndicate Association, and holds the NASD Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
